Enrichment Week Woot! It's ENRICHMENT WEEK! No school, no frills but all enrichment courses. Loved the drama put up by Wild Rice abt neighbourhoods cos it was damn hilarious! Loved the actress who played the Malay singer because she is so humourous and sings really well. Kudos to that! Enjoyed the marine conservation and lingerie talk. The lingerie talk was especially memorable, cos of the demonstration and also the free gifts that were apparently rejected goods..But nevertheless, the girls learned a lot more about their inner beauty.. Went through the online lectures just now and well, were they fantastic! Understood some concepts but then again, there's gotta be more studying. But i am trying not to morph into one of those lean mean studying machines in my school. They are plain SCARY and INTIMIDATING. Imagine, economics and physics terms rolling out of their tongues and you don't get anything. Whoo~ There are more enrichment activities tmr. Going for the dance thing in the hall. Then there's toastmasters then an excursion to NTU. It's an Overseas Chinese Identities Exhibition i guess. Haiya~ I have no idea wad is it but signed up for it anyway. its time to surf the net and do somemore tests to entertain myself. Tickle.com is really fun! Some place to kill time and also to find out more about yourself. Whee! Gotta watch Sleepless in Seattle. You know i am a sucker for romantic comedies. Heh heh. |

tickle Woot! Even though i bought the council application forms at $4, i didn't hand it up in the end. One may ask why, but then i just didn't feel like it anymore. Moreover, it will be super stressful and time consuming so i guess i'll just give it a miss. Anyway, my parents and i had a great afternoon out by having lunch at copthrone orchid before cruising around. Whee!!!! Anyway, took some tests at Tickle, and here are some of my results... What's Your Vibe? your vibe is Burgundy Chic You're one class act — the perfect balance of a cool, casual attitude and an elegant, polished style. There's a certain grace in almost everything you do. It's true, you make things look easy — even when they're not.And while there's nothing flashy about how you present yourself, you never fail to dazzle most people you meet. You tend to take life as it comes — and it's not easy to throw you off course. A strong sense of self and a hearty dose of confidence help you handle whatever comes your way. And usually, look good doing it. What Dog breed are you? Cocker Spaniel No bones about it, you're a perky, loving Cocker Spaniel. (Think Lady from Lady and the Tramp.) Playful and energetic, you're a real people person — er, dog. People can't help but fall hook, line, and sinker for your friendly, well-rounded personality and natural charm. It's a subtle thing, though — being outgoing and flirtatious, not showy, is the name of your game. Friends, co-workers, and potential dates can't help liking you. How could they not? Your winning-yet-humble ways make you popular, admired, and a joy to be around. Woof! What is Your Fall Fashion Look? your fall look is Sophisticated Sistah You've got an effortless elegance that makes you a natural leader and — c'mon, admit it — slightly intimidating to those around you. We bet that you have a taste for life's luxuries and aren't afraid to pamper yourself a little now and then, whether that means treating yourself to an extravagant spa treatment or picking up some 600-thread count sheets. Head out on the town in jeans and sneaks? You could, but why would you when fall's got so many great looks for a cool cat like you? Be on the prowl for a pair of sharp stilettos, a fur-trimmed jacket, and a leopard-print handbag. Meow!Your splurge: Flash a little of your pampered flesh in a sexy silk evening dress, or wrap up in a chic capelet. Ooh la la! What Kind of Traveller Are You? you're a Pampered Traveler Four-star hotels. Shopping sprees. Fine dining. For you, traveling is all about indulgence. Leaving the comforts of home doesn't mean leaving your love of luxury. In fact, you probably take advantage of and enjoy the spoils of a vacation more than most.Admit it, you like the finer things in life, especially when you're rewarding yourself with a getaway. And you know that giving yourself a few special treats will make the trip more memorable and worthwhile. So go ahead, order the dessert, relax with a massage, unwind in roomy first-class seats. That's how you savor the experience. Ahh... Do You follow your Heart or Head? you follow your head when it comes to romance Maybe you've been burned before, or maybe you're just too busy changing the world, but when it comes to your love life, you definitely look before you leap. While you might not be cautious in every aspect of your life, love is an area you tread on lightly. Let's face it, you'd rather have a little more control over your emotions, but they're sometimes hard to pin down. So rather than get lost in them, you, and many of us, probably prefer to focus on other aspects of your life. It's not that you don't want love to wash over you so you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's just that you'd probably like to fall in love when it best fits into your calendar. Still, with your smarts, you're probably able to sense when you're up for a little romancing and when you're not. Just remember, if you're ever on the fence, you want to fall off on the side where someone's going to catch you. Especially if he's tall, dark, and handsome. What's Your Lucky Charm? Four-leaf Clover Even if you're not from the green isles, you just might share in some of that luck o' the Irish. The four-leaf clover is your lucky charm. Druids used four leaf clovers to see evil spirits and friendly fairies. If you start seeing magical things however, we recommend laying off the clovers for a while. In fact, you don't even need to possess the actual clover. A necklace, pendant, key chain or tattoo promises the same good fortune of the ancients. Take note brides and grooms—the mere dream of a four-leaf clover foretells of a successful marriage. Actually finding one might mean quadruplets. What's Your Celebrity Look? your celebrity look is the Casual Look! Forget fussy routines and beauty salons, you're all about the Casual Look. For you, a freewheeling, low-maintenance lifestyle is a simple virtue. Your sporty look comes complete with natural, feminine charm and a cute, sun-kissed glow that speaks volumes about your healthy approach to life. For you, looking good is never a chore, it just comes naturally. Your spontaneous side is always open to new adventures, so your look is always good to go. Something fun, like worn jeans and a sexy cotton tank top, is just your speed. For makeup, it's nothing too fancy—maybe some sheer gloss and light mascara to give you that last-minute pulled-together look. And like all those famously casual girls next door, Meg Ryan, Renee Zellweger, and Sandra Bullock, your relaxed look is sure to turn a few heads wherever you go. What's Your Cinderella Story? in your Cinderella story, you'd get to Topple Your Evil Stepsisters Whether you're battling evil stepsisters, arguing against an unfair grade, or trying to put a bully in their place, one thing's for sure — you fight for the underdog. Let's face it: The world's not always fair. But you, more than others, know you can help make a difference. So whether you're leading a rally cry, starting a new club, or just welcoming the new girl in school before the mean kids get a chance, you've got a strong sense of what's right and wrong and are armed with the smarts to fight for justice. So roll up your sleeves, Cinderella. You might not always feel like people notice your efforts, but deep down everyone knows you're the real belle of the ball. What Do You Want in a Man? Romance: Although you're a sucker for romance, you'll probably cut a guy some slack even if he doesn't constantly pamper you with gifts and affection. You crave passion in your relationships, so you want a guy who can (and will) express his deepest feelings for you through his actions. Someone like Richard Gere or George Clooney, perhaps? But you know that men aren't very romantic, so you're willing to lower your standards in this area if need be. Chances are you're willing to stick around once the courting period ends, though it's still very important that your guy occasionally dote upon you. Your realistic-yet-hopeful outlook will guarantee you a good catch! Lifestyle: Some people say love is a journey of the heart. So if you're traveling anyway, why take coach when you can go first class? It sounds like you have some very clear financial expectations for your ideal relationship. Money is an important aspect of romance for you, probably because of the leisure and opportunities it offers. (One guy with a bank account that might live up to your expectations is David Hyde Pierce's character, Niles, on "Frasier.") There's no doubt that a luxurious lifestyle is tons of fun, but we hope it doesn't become the most important aspect of your relationship. We all dream about a fairy-tale love affair (complete with a castle), but it's important to stay within the limits of reality. Based on your answers, you should recognize and respect your desires, but if you meet Mr. Right, don't let anything get in the way of true love, even an itty bitty bank balance. Maturity: There's no denying that men are like fine wine — they definitely get better with age. It's not hard to understand why, when you consider all the benefits of getting older, which is why you like your guys a bit older and more mature. Suave and sophisticated, a mature-yet-fun man — like Regis Philbin or Kelsey Grammer's "Frasier" character — would be more likely to settle down into a real relationship and make a lasting commitment. On the other hand, your answers show that you don't go for stiffs who can't crack a joke. What's the point if there's no spontaneity, right? It sounds like you go for guys with experience and a sense of humor that's dry as a fine Chablis, but with a hint of spice. Looks: You may not judge a book entirely by its cover, but you definitely like the cute ones. (Who doesn't?!) You might consider someone who's a little less than gorgeous, but you generally tend to seek out very handsome men who can really turn heads. Matt Damon? Noah Wyle? Right up your alley. But if need be, you're willing to place personality and chemistry before a pretty face and a hot body. Nevertheless, your answers reveal that you take pride in your man's appearance and get a thrill out of watching others gawk at him. You're impressed by looks, and you definitely set your standards high when it comes to physical appearance. Still, you also realize that beauty may be only skin deep and that an average-looking guy with tons of charm might be your perfect match in every other way! |

school holidays Whoo~ A term has just ended like that and well, it sure does not feel that real. Feels like i have just woken up from a semi nightmare thing. Heh heh... Well, there's a week to kill time for. Though its just 1.25 pm now, it sure feels like its the evening already. Hmm. Holidays aren't always full of fun and surprises and well, not as interesting as depicted in Hollywood movies. Think pop culture! So preety clueless about what i wanna do for the week. Mug? Shop? Sleep it off? All right, perhaps this is the time for all of us to manage some attitude adjustment and get ourselves settled down after all the pandemonium of the previous week. Going for lectures, getting lost in the school (ok maybe its just me...) and well, feeling totally out of place and wanting to die. Ok, shan't whine anymore. Positive attitude everybody! |

But very cute lahs. U see all the ppl pointing their fingers into the air and jump up and down shouting "YAH!!!" and then everyone joins in. Nice. All right, orientation was so so and quite ok. Din get soaked for the station games cos well, most of them din require much water poured on me. The worse were the bench and climbing the slope ones that got me drenched with soap water. The college anthem was hard to grasp since its all in Malay and i dun have the lyrics. National dream was ok and i got the chorus part already. Oh yeah, some said the NJC uniform is fire-proof! Heh heh... Have been going for lectures these few days and well, i dun seem to understand anything. Feel so dumb there. Everyone else seem to know what is going on except me. Grr~ OK.
